Interesting? Jon. You are saying Paul Bigsby was a Crocker Mechanic? How do you elevate his providing sub’ed out casting services to being Crocker Mechsnic.
Please share your primary sources.

Sorry, I read the four articles, but they don’t explain what about the Crocker motorcycle is attributed to Paul Bigsby. Please detail it for me. You don’t need to include tfe volume/tone pedal casting — we all know that already.

So, Chas, you are saying he invented the motorcycle?
Bigbsy eventually became the shop foreman at Crocker and was a pattern maker.
Al Crocker was the designer.
I imagine you also think that when Bigsby worked as a pattern maker for the WWII war effort, he invented the Navy's battleships as well?

Why don't you have a photo of the Bigsby motorcycle? There were two. One sold not too many years ago. They were never completed until after PA died. Perhaps because they utilized someone else's design?

Oh FPS, Chris

Lotsa mechanical inventions/refinements were taking place locally in 20’s-30’s. Indy car OHC engine/chassis creators were clustered around in the same areas of LA where you live now, Chris. BTW, is that your car parked in the background of that pic? 😊

Bob & Dave: you can slam dunk any of my comments made as non essential to this sale. Only want seller/purchaser to realize what a pristine example of early PSG design is up for grabs… by any Oligarch!
