Hey guys, I just found out that Larry Miller fell from a ladder and broke his back and foot. Larry came to the last two jams with his wife just to listen but was looking forward to the next to bring his steel to play. Larry is a great craftsman building his own cases and seats. He will be in rehab for several weeks. Please remember him in your prayers as he is a good man in a need of our prayers for his recovery. Thanks guys see you soon.

Here's some directions to the VFW. If you're on I-81, take exit 57B to I-26 West/US23 North. Then go around 8 mile, take Exit 1,turn left at the end of ramp. Go around 6 mile, turn left on Silver Lake Rd, go 0.3 mile, turn left on VFW Rd. If you want to use map quest, use this address, 247 Silver Lake Rd Church Hill, Tn. That's the Church Hill Health dept address which is at the corner on VFW Rd. I hope that will help you out. Looking forward to a good day of picking and fellowship. Almost 2 weeks to go.

Hey Tony, I'm gonna try to make this one. Could you get me an address for the Ol' Garmin? I hope to steal some new licks to steel - I'm borin' myself, and my wife, to death with my old ones.

Hi Guys, A friend of mine is a good Ray Price, Faron Young style singer. Just wondering if you guys would have any need for a singer?

Thanks

Mike....You asked if there was going to be a band this time....I am bringing my tele. Tony asked Pop Turner to play drums and I think he was going to ask Danny Fields about playing bass. Gary Skelton is bringing a PA...Don't know if we consider that a band, but there will be some backup noise anyway

I am leaving my steel at home this time.(I can hear a big sigh of relief coming through the computer) .... Dave and I have a show Sat. night and my car will be full with PA equipment.

Dave is coming, but he said it would be after lunch and he may not even set his steel up.

Years ago, the machine shop I worked for hired a new guy. He clocked in wearing a big field jacket. All day long he didn't even do enough work to take off his heavy jacket. At the end of the day the shop foreman said "You didn't do much work today.." The guy responded "I was saving myself in case you asked me to work overtime."

Dave is saving himself for overtime....

I think with the appropriate amount of arm twisting we can get him to setup that ol cheap John Hughey steel.

Hey guys, I really appreciate you opening for me. You may want to put a couple of extra men in the parking lot for crowd control. I WILL be there - have the crowd warmed up and the Lone Star cold.
