Thanks Don, if I get a copy, I'll gladly make copies and help get them out to those in need, and yes I think everyone owes a big thank you to Rick. Larry

Ok Papa Joe,

So in order to clear things up,

Note: Rick's "Band In The Box Made Easy" is NOT the program itself. It is how to use "Band in the Box" (the actual program) to get you up and running in making up music, tracks, and a whole lot more.

It still sounds to me, that George B., was asking about getting Rick's DVD, so he could see for himself, if he'd be able to use BIAB (Band in a box).

So maybe George will tell us what he was meaning.

Regardless thanks for posting the site url..... Don

I have half a dozen blank DVD-R disks lying around. I'd be happy to use them to copy this DVD for a few people.
Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

Mike,

Thanks a whole lot, that would be great especially for the one's who might not know how to download, etc..

I'm sending one out to Jay who's going to put it on his site, and make it into a Download for people.

The generousity has me overwhelmed. One way or the other, between the folks here, we'll make sure that everyone who wants a copy gets it one way or the other.

How about we wait and see how Jay makes out, but in the meantime, anyone who feels they (for whatever reason) couldn't do a download, will get a DVD.

That way, everyone will have a chance to get one, with as light a load as possible, on the one's providing the hard copies.

If that makes sense. The one's willing to wait for the download, let me know, and the one's who need a DVD let me know. Then we'll better be able to know what's going on.

The one's offering to make copies to send to others I feel should be the first to get their copy.

I really don't know how I got into this, but I sure had no idea it would turn out as it is. But that's good, because I do feel this will really do something for helping others use what they have. Their "Band In A Box" for having a great time in seeing that they too, can have fun and actually use it.

I'll need mailing addresses for those actually going to be sending out a couple of copies (free of charge) in helping others get it.

Please, anyone wanting mailing expenses, shipping or otherwise, I'd appreciate not listing as an offer to help others, but you'll still get a copy or the Download just the same. Rick wanted it free, and I feel he was generous enough to do that, and so it should be that way. No Charge Period. It's called helping others.

Thanks Mike

Don and I have contacted each other- the DVD is going to go across the country from Don in the east to me in the west, so I may not have it in my hot little hands until the end of the week.
As soon as I get it I will do the conversions needed and post it to a site for all to download from.
As with all video- there will be some bandwidth involved to download it. I will make it as friendly as possible for those of us with the slower connections (I have a 50Meg a sec. pipe at work, so I'll upload it from there)
As soon as it's up, I'll post the links here for all...best guess is sometime this Saturday (21st) afternoon, west coast time.
Thanks Don and Rick for making this available to all who want it!

Hey Don, and Papa Joe,
I am sorry if my request left you confused......Actually, you are Both right.....I don't have BIAB, because after talking to a couple of guys that do have it, and hearing how complicated the instructions are, I'm not sure that I want it......It seems that Rick has cleared things up, and made it easy to navigate.......If so, and I can understand it, then I will proceed in getting anything else that I might need.......Again, Sorry I didn't make my request a little clearer..
Many Thanks to you Both for your concern, and for trying to get me on the Right Track, and to Rick, for providing the opportunity...
George...

Larry,

Yes, I have Jay, Mike & you, that DVD's were going out to today.. However, today there was no mail. So they'll now go out in tomorrow's mail.

Thanks again for offering to send out a couple or so copies at no charge. That's super!

I've learned that what goes around comes around, so it's all good, and for a good cause. Sometimes, making someone else's day, is the best thing a person can do in life, to feel good about themselves.

Thanks again,

Don

Below is the list, that I believe, wants Rick's Video.
------------------

Ray Montee, ?

Andy Jones, ?

Roger Francis, ?

Ronnie Boettcher, ?

Fred Glave, ?

The one's with a question mark, need to let me know if they are awaiting a download. Thanks
---------------

Bill M.
Maybe you'd be willing to donate your copy to someone on the list, since it did nothing for you?

Now, the one's on the list that believe they couldn't download it, please post below asking for a DVD

That way, we'll know how many need them mailed, and the others can download it from Jay's site.

Any others? Feel free to ask for a copy as well, or simply wait until Jay's URL is listed here to download youselves a copy.

Don't forget, after you watch Rick's video a couple of times, and it has you up and running, please don't forget to post a Big Thank You, to Rick, and also do a small write up, to let others know what it did for you.

Rick is owed a Big Thanks from all of us, for making his video, available to those who want it free of charge, that's unreal, Rick's quite a guy, and quite a musician as well.

Thanks again to everyone. The three names I left off the list, is only because a DVD is already on the way to them in the morning, for helping others get a copy of it. "Jay, Mike & Larry"

If I missed anyone awaiting a download please post below.

Thanks,
Don

Thanks Ron,

Jay feels it should be up and running by Sat if all goes well.

Also of note:

The three Copies, went out today along with their tracking numbers.

One to Jay, so he can make it downloadable to others. The other two, went out to Mike and Larry, for offering to get a couple free copies out to the one's that feel they wouldn't be able to download a copy.

Thanks again, to everyone for the help. And a Special Thanks to Rick Campbell, who's generosity made it all possible.

Remember, this is "Rick's Christmas Gift" to each of you getting a free copy.

Mike,

When your DVD gets to you, hold up on making Copies until we find out exactly who needs a Hard Copy (DVD) as opposed to downloading it from Jay's Download link.

No need in sending any back to me. I can make more copies, (if needed) no problem there. That's why I'm asking for each of the one's who said they'd like to have Rick's "Band In The Box Made Easy" to make a post. Such as, Ron Brennan, Chippy Wood, Lynn Fargo, and (possibly) others have already. That way we'll know who needs an (Actual) DVD and who will await Jay's Download URL Link.

Then just pick out a couple who do, or if you know someone who does, make it known that you'll take care of sending a copy to those one or two people.

Thanks,
Don

Don't get upset if you see your name come off the above list. :)

I'll be editing the (above) list of people wanting a copy, and removing the name's who already had one of Rick's DVD's. I'll also mark the names awaiting Jay's download site. The way it looks, most are willing to await Jay's download site, for their copy.

I think it's only fair to Jay, that a time limit for getting one is set. I'll leave that up to Jay. Remember, this was done as a "Christmas Gift" from "Rick Campbell" to anyone who wanted a free copy of his "Band In The Box Made Easy".

Now, A Big Thanks goes to Jay, for stepping up and making it much easier and faster, to get a copy.

Larry, since you and I are both making copies, there might be some confusion leading to some people getting 2 copies and others not getting one at all.

Instead, I propose that anybody who wants a DVD, e-mail either Larry or myself, and give us you mailing addresses.

If I get more than 6 requests, I'll refer them back to Don.

Mike,

Just pick out a couple of names from the list I made (above) "Scroll up" to find it.

Then let me know who they are. I'll mark them, with "Copy from Mike".

That way, Larry will be able to see who you're sending to, and he can pick out the one's he'll be sending to, and let me know, and I'll mark those, as "Copy from Larry".

I'll make sure I take care of sending a copy to the other's on the list.

However, first it's important to hear back from the one's left on the list with the question mark (?)after their names so I know for sure, who is waiting to download from Jay's site.

That should take care of any confusion on who's doing what.

It may be best to await Jay's site to see how it goes, for the downloads that quite possibly will be up and running before Monday?

Thanks
Don

Hi Everyone,
Let's try this:
Here are ten links, right mouse click on them and select 'save link as' or whatever you browser indicates will do the same thing.
I've slit them into ten links of approx. 50Meg apiece.
If they need to be smaller, I could do that if enough people need it smaller.
Unfortunately, due to the UN-availability of decent freeware AVI splitters, I have to cut these apart at specific sizes, rather than chapter by chapter as I wanted to.
There are programs on the web that you can use to stitch them back together if you want, but feel free to rename them the most descriptive way you see fit, if you desire.

They are in sequential order.
