"Players, unless you want to play rose of san antone and 20 versions of the wild side of life, you had better get some music in."
How about 10 versions of each and one version of Steel Guitar Rag as a waltz in Eb minor that modulates down a whole step each verse?
The music is on its way International Priority. It'll arrive early next week.

Just as a matter of interest.
I would expect to meet people from Ireland and Great Britain at the festival and of course the wonderful guest players from overseas.
How many other Nationalities will be there?
Any from USA? Europe or elsewhere?
I will probably be on the Bell at the bar so I need to know how much money my dear Wife will have to take with her.
Wherever you are from I will look forward to meeting you
Best regards
Billy

Pete I think Bowmore is an Islay whisky and they do a lot of different styles of single malt .Jameson do a single one also but unsucessfully in my humble opinion . I think their ordinary one is the best Hmmmm . Are you going to bring me a bugel of yer mates Merlot ..Excellent ! What were we saying about steel guitars ?

Extra Cold Guinness, just makes it as cold as most of the rest of us like beer.
If you do occasionaly drink a pint on a gig, Guinness is a great choice,
because 1 lasts all night if you want.
I have on an irish pub gig had 1 last 3 sets and been perfectly a happy and in good form playing.
Not of course recomended on steel gigs, or fiddle for than matter.
Lack attention certainly breeds lack of intonation.
[This message was edited by David L. Donald on 01 October 2004 at 10:13 AM.]
