Roger, I will It's also going to be tabbed in the next issue of Aloha Dream.
The limitations of the Fender 1000 are single raise and single lower, so, the the notes of the OPEN tuning of A7 are neither East(Flat) or west(sharp) they're the Prime Meridian
And, not a tuning I use much
On reflection I think of East as sharp and West as flat, how about you ?,

The B11th neck is North of the A7th one so A is lower than B :- Therefore Rog, I think of North as UP and South as Down as per a map, and West of the bar would be flat and East of the bar would be sharp !! (That is assuming that I'm facing North and not facing DECCA)
But what about forward and back, is that in and out or Here and There ?
Not a lot to do with lap steel, but my next reply will be.

The playing isn't the best but the quick quip at the end to the "person" commenting, is classic "Basil" !
Especially the gesticulation !
