Pickup's

Post by Roy McKinney »

Who or where would you send the pickups from a Stringmaster D8 to get revitalized?
My top neck pickups seem to be a little weaker then the bottom neck.
Thanks

The Laurel and Hardy of the guitar pickup world,- Jason Lollar and/or Rick Aiello, depending on what needs to be done.

Hey,- if I have offended you or anybody else, then I apologize, perhaps L&H has a deeper, meaner, negative side to them that I'm not aware of.
I was only trying to make a joke about someone who is co-operating and doing some of the finest pickup work available today.
I've never met Rick, Jason, Laurel or Hardy in person, but I have dealt with both Rick and Jason and have nothing but the best to say about them (which is why I recommended them to Roy).

Steinar

PS - Where I come from the "Laurel and Hardy" comparison is a quite affectionate and light-hearted way of describing two people working together. I could easily have said the same about Jackson Browne and David Lindley. But perhaps there's some implications I'm not aware of?
