If anyone wants to know where great Country vocals and music has gone to,Laney is where it is and always was. This is the Country music we should be getting on our airwaves. Great arrangements and super pickers. Why Russ Hicks is not in the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame eludes me.One of the main reasons this non player makes the trip to St. Louis,They are a Country fix for me.I am a great fan of Laney and Russ.

I would vote for that song she did with Buddy Emmons on her CD for the #1 country song of the year. That was about the best I've heard come out in a long while. It was "real" country.

Laney's such an amazing singer and friend. Every time she sings, she sings every song from the heart. Russ does a great job playing steel while she sings. Love ya, Laney! Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10-Redgold Beauty

I first heard Laney sing at one of Stoney's shows when he had them in Knoxville,TN. I'll NEVER forget her rendition of Invitation To The Blues. I'll admit it, it brought a tear to my eye. That song remains my favorite to this day!

Silver tongued devils, all of you. (Walter, I'd like to talk to you about promoting the next thing I ever do...whatEVER it is, in ANY category!) Thank you.

Thanks for making my week...we can say all we want to that the opinions of others don't matter, but the opinions of "some" others do, and when such things are said by such people as "you", it makes me feel very very good.

I hope you receive the same "blessings" you've bestowed on me.

Much love,
Laney

P.S. Petr, your English is excellent! You shame us all!

Thanks to Laney for a perfect week, but every story has an ending. Now it's time to relay.
Ronnie Milsap follows with his RCA debut from 1973.

WARNING: There's a banjer on one track !

Best,
