Post by Pee Wee Rogers »

I'm not very good at this but, here goes.

Jimmy Yates a Steel player for many years in Nashville has passed.
He passed away last night in his sleep at the hospital.
He had suffered Parkinsons the past few years.
He played with many artist over the years and his wife Kathy played bass.
His services will be at;
Hendersonville Funeral Home
353 E. Main Street
Hendersonville, TN
Phone number 615-824-3855
I don't know how many Formulites knew Jimmy but, those of you who did, might want this information.
Thank you, Pee Wee Rogers

Jimmy and I were friends while he lived in Arizona and I visited his home in Nashville a couple of times. He and Kathy are great folks and we will miss Jimmy. Rest in Peace, old friend.

I am saddened by his passing. He was a good friend and I feel blessed to have known him since 1960 in Florida. MY best to Kathy and the rest of his family. Stu.

I was saddened to hear about my good friend Jimmy Yates. We have been good friends since about 1971 where I first met him in Phoneix, Arizona. I wrote more about Jimmy and Kathy in "Extended Family", and we were like family. Jimmy is at peace now.My condolences to Kathy. I will be contacting her soon....al
