CD coming in 06'

Post by Billy Carr »

I'm currently in the process of putting material together for a steel guitar CD in the latter part of 2006. So far, I've got two originals that will probably be included. The first one is called "Tootie Boots", which is a swing type song that is played mainly in major chords with a lot of fast single notes. My second original is a song I put together in memory of my daughters little baby boy that just recently died right after he was born. It's called "Lil' Troy". This is steel solo mainly done in the lower register of the S-12U E9th tuning. It will include a lot "double-tracking" in the studio.

That should be a good one Billy, you're a fine player. Hope you sell a million. So sorry for the loss of your grandson.

Thanks Howard, plans for a CD have been tossed around for a long time. I'm going to try and make this one very interesting. Pure steel guitar with a little delay/reverb and music that everyone can understand and hopefully enjoy.
