Want some real country???
From Lloyd Green:

quote:
I'm in the midst of a lot of sessions with Robbie Fulks, "Rattlesnake" Annie and Buddy Jewel's new Sony album, among others. In addition the Johnny Paycheck tribute album will be released on Sugar Hill Records August 11th. For the person who suggested elsewhere on the Forum there wasn't any more albums with lots of steel, fiddle and electric guitar, I suggest he get this one upon release. That's what it is; Redd Volkaert on elec., Hank Singer on Fiddle and me on steel. It's the best real country stuff I've heard in a dozen years. There are 15 0r 16 singers on the cd, from George Jones to Buck Owens; from Niko Case to Dallas Wayne and Gail Davies. This one will have more steel than anything else.
Best regards

I already asked the Sugar Hill guys for the release date - they were not sure. I really can't wait for that one!
