I was very happy to see Paul at the NTSGA Jam today.Smiley told me this was the first time ever that Paul showed up.I can`t describe to you Smileys excitement.Welcome to the NTSGA Mr. Franklin and I (and I`m sure everyone else)hope to see you with us more offten and hopefuly hear you play sometime in the future.
I am not to happy.Paul Franklin walked by me several times and I didnt even know who he was.I dont think he was wearing a name tag.At least I know what he looks like for the next time
Richard, Paul is using a disguise, gray beard and a little bit of a waisline!!!
but still knows how to smile, and a great guy to know! (just kidding Paul)
Tommy, you are right,Paul is the nicest person you`ll meet.It is hard to get to him tho, there is always 5-6 people around him and even tho I would like to ask him a question or two I don`t feel like bothering him.I would guess if the man sits at the bar,he would like a drink or two and a few minutes brake but Paul don`t do that,he just talks to everyone and always smiles.I have yet to meet a rude steel player I guess,so far everyone was always super nice to me.

Damir, I've known Paul Sr. since Moby Dick was a minnow, and he is a great guy to be around. His personallity and charm has rubbed off on Paul Jr.; the only thing that Paul didn't accomplish was the gift of gab that his Dad has!!! (start talking about steel guitars and you will know what I mean)
Great people to be around, Bless the Franklin girls, and you to "Brian"
I can`t describe to you Smileys excitement.
Damir,
As my ol' pal,Mike Weirauch always sez,"Excitement" wasn't the word for it! I was "Tee-Totally Thrilled" that he he came by. It was wonderful to see him there.
THANK YOU,PAUL!!!
