Derek, thanks for letting me play that new blue Franklin. What a great guitar. It sounded great on stage with Butch.

Just got the guitar last night, spent all day with it,
It plays, sounds, and looks amazing!!!!!! It's built rock solid and underneath it's signed by Paul Jr.
and Sr.! Image I feel like such a spoiled brat that I have two Franklins. I wouldn't have even said anything
about it if Theresa hadn't started this post. Just
for the record, I never asked for the second guitar.
It actually was my parents idea (and who am I to
stop them from making an investment. Image).
I don't play video games or have a t.v. in my room
or a cell phone etc., so this takes the place for that stuff. I definately help pay for the guitars as much as I can. Music equip. is my families weakness!
Just wanted to set myself straight there!
I'll post pics. as soon as possible! -Derek

Derek,

It was a pleasure to meet you and your mom at the show. I sincerely appreciated you sharing your guitar and letting me try it. I would also like to send a special thanks to your mom who worked hard to find a spot to set it up. The guitar is truly a masterpiece with great action and it sounded terrific. I was also surprised at how well it sounded through the new Peavey Nashville 112 amp. From watching you play with such ease in the Peavey Room (in front of all those strangers) I have no doubt that if you continue to work hard you will have plenty of successes and achievements in the Steel Guitar World.

Sorry Derek,
I should have e-mailed you personally.
I'm a mom and I don't think your spoiled.
I think your modesty shows by your post. I'm so proud to have you as a new inspired musician playing steelguitar.
