Many of you steelers are like me. . . .weekend warriors! I always like to know where you guys are pickin on Saturday night like myself. So drop me a post and let me know where.

I'll be with my band "Country Junction" at American Legion Post #29 in Russellville, KY tonight from 8pm till 12mid.

Frank Andrews formerly with David Houston is playing lead guitar, Flash Gordon on Bass, Ted Horn playin Drums & me on Pedal Steel. Great guys to work with. We're about to get there as far as the sound combination I've been lookin for. And that's been going on for over 2 years now. We do alot of shuffles. . .Ray Price, Haggard, Paycheck, Alan Jackson. The kinds of stuff I likes to play "YEAH" Ya'll come out if your in the area. Hey Roger! As far as I'm concerned....you have the best gig tonight, in my book! What could be more fun than playing western swing
steel in Texas w/twin fiddles (unless it was
3 or 4 fiddles [that knew what to do with them!] Always dreamed of that for years, but never got my chance & now it's too late! Pity me! but Roger.....have fun! & I'm sure you will!

Chez Oeuf, Ville Active, Nimes, France, w/ Zum U-12 We got some real fine western swing things going too. The owner wanted irish theme for St. paddy's so...So we called irish standards like Wabash Cannonball.(From the eastern states of Derry down to the Emeraled shores.)
=
In the Jailhouse now, (Paddy got locked up monday. )
and "Take me Back to Dublin, I'm to Young to Marry."
and Other great irish classics...
We're in FRANCE... they bought it LOL.
[This message was edited by David L. Donald on 16 March 2003 at 01:04 AM.]
