Jay Dee Maness video
I´ve just seen the Jay Dee Maness instructional video, and it´s great!
He shows you how to play several of his famous soloes and trademark licks, talks about his sound and set up and also regales us with war stories from his years as a musician. The production is very professionally done with crystal clear pictures and a book with tablature is included.
Here at last we can gain an insight into what shapes the Jay Dee sound and we can see and read just how he plays those wonderfully fluid and melodic lines of his.
Highly recommended!

I got my copy yesterday. Very well done, both the video & the tab book.
Back in the old days at the Palamino Club, Jay Dee loved it when I would show up on Thursday for "talent show" night. He would get me to sit in and play the talent contest on his rig. I have some tapes of some of those nights and even though its Jay Dee's rig I'm playing, it still sounds like me! LOL
