Brand New "Ray Price CD" w/Buddy Emmons>my Review

Post by Ricky Davis »

Well I just received an advanced copy of the new Ray Price CD called "Time"...soon to be released. Ray is on the same record lable as Dale Watson...
This is Classic Ray Price and you will freak when I tell you the list of players.
Buddy; if your reading this.....that is some mighty sweet tastful Steel guitar and Dobro my friend.
Acoustic/Bass Guitar > Harold Bradley
Drums > Buddy Harmon
Bass > Bob Moore
Acoustic Guitar > Jimmy Capps
Steel Guitar > Buddy Emmons
Electric Guitar > Pete Wade
Piano/Keyboards > David Briggs
Fiddle > Rob Hajacos,Joe Caverlee

This is Classic Country and Western Swing in it's finest hour. Ray Price sings as good as I've ever heard him sing.
Buddy Emmons....well need I say more..
And all the legends that have made up many many many Ray Price Albums......
Look for it....buy it...enjoy it.

Ricky, are these new recordings or re-releases of old recordings? I recently received the 10 cd box set of Ray Price. It is no wonder that i am stuck on the 50's and 60's country! regards, fred

These are Brand new Recordings and the Songs are:
<font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>
1. You just don't love me anymore
2. Ft. Worth Texas
3. Time
4. Take Back your old Love Letters
5. Both Sides of Goodbye
6. If it's all the same to you
7. No one but you
8. If you think your Lonely
9. I'm not leaving(I'm just getting out of your way)
10. Next voice you Hear
11. What if I say Goodbye
12. Don't you go loving Nobody Else
</pre></font>

Many of the songs are written by Harlan Howard and a couple written by Cindy Walker and Hank Cochran and others. Of course "Take back your old love letters">Ray Price.
So many new songs I've never heard but sound daaaaaaang good to me.
