Hey, Stoney, this is your buddy, Brett. I'm practicing my steel every day. Today I played along with a Vince Gill tune called "Pocket Full Of Gold" with John Hughey on steel. I also play "Look At Us" using rhythm tracks with me on steel, and other instruments backing me up. When the fiddle is playing the second verse, I let it do the lead parts while I add little steel licks until the bridge and the steel solo. I'm gonna get a new steel soon too, like an Emmons Legrande. Your buddy, Brett

Hey Brett: Great news! Sounds like you are really doing good on the steel and I am tickled to death for you. Don't give up until you do it exactly like you want it..... maybe I will see you in St. Louis. Just keep picking.........Stoney
