ANOTHER Nashville Weekend Report

Post by Kenny Foy »

My wife,Dora, and Iwere to ride to An H-D motorcycle open house in Clarksville Saturday, but it was raining and it was to rain all day when we got up Sat morning. So I got the idea to go to Nashville toooooooooo Mr Bobbe Seymour's and get some trinkets, then go down on Broadway and walk the bars and listen to some good music and then go to the Palace to hear MIke sweeney play with the band. Now never having heard Mr Sweeney play I was really looking forward to it. Welllll as Mr luck would have it he was gone out of town and not playin at the Palace. So we were disappointed because that was one of the hi lites of our trip. Before gettin a room for the nite, and it being 3:30pm I thought I mite had better run by Seymore's to get the dildats and what nots I needed just in case he closed early.Didn't even know if he was open or not. BUTTTT he was open and just closing and stayed open for me to get my items. Naturally I got a great deal from Bobbe. He asked what we were doing in Nashville and we told him about going to the Palace and not seeing Mike and of our being disappointed ANNND what did Bobbe say? You're in luck because he was filling in for Mike at the Palace. Now that,s Luck. We went and run the bars on Broadway and I'll tell ya, there were some great pickers down there. Then we went to the Palace and ate a GREAT meal and So were Blessed with Bobbe,s company the rest of the nite. Now I,m tellin ya that man is the most gracious gentleman.I have the utmost respect for people like him. By the way if you ever won der where he finds his talent on music and setups the secret is he's a gearhead at heart. Not includin his natural musical ability. Those people are always tinkering with and changing something. And he has the ability to figure it out. Also, By the way his setup with two (2) levers, that's TWO, is fantastic. IT WORKS AND SOUNDS GREAT. Need to check with him on that. So far everyone loves it. Here Iam learnin on one with 4 and now he,s subtractin two already. At least that will help the weight problem on my D-12 SHO-BUD. She's gettin kinda heavy you know. OOPS I'm glad my wife's name isn't SHO or BUD or Icould be gettin into trouble here. Bobbe if you can figure out how to get maybe another 150 pounds off her I would'nt need a front end loader to pack her around. OOPS Here I go again. Seems my wife is reading this over my shoulder and I've got to stop and esplane. But I'm chasin too many rabbits and need to get back to the jest of the weekend. Bobbe did an EXCELLENT job. Mike, he did you justice fillin in. All the talent was good at the Palace and one girl singer,Brenda Best, really stuck out in our minds. If you want to hear the next female country super star go see and hear her at the Palace. She is fantastic. No more country records need to be spun or sung until this girl is signed up. So to wind it up, when it's rainin at home go to Nashbill for the weekend. You'll enjoy. Bobbe if you read this, how close is PRICELESS to completion. Still got a bumper,to fit that old Plowmouth, TO trade for a copy when you get it completed. Thanks for makin the trip an adventure. KENNY RAY LYNNVILLE KY. HOME of the BROKE and the BRAVE
