Receiving mail

Post by Ed Meadway »

After receiving mail - it always is located in the "inbox" after downloading has completed. For some reason one and only one persons mail ends up in my "deleted items" folder as unread. This has happened 10 times in a row. Anyone have and idea why? I'm using Outlook Express and can't find any setting that would cause this.

The only explanation that makes sense to me is that you have an instruction in your spam filter making it do that. Do you have any instruction under TOOLS > MESSAGE RULES and either the mail or the block sender tab that either single out this person's name (I once did that and then forgot I did it and couldn't figure out why it kept sending him to the the delete folder) or a word this person always uses in the subject line?

Jon You were right! For some reason that name was on the "delete" list. I never knew that option was there. Thanks a million....Ed
[This message was edited by Ed Meadway on 07 May 2002 at 04:53 AM.]

Cool. Same thing happened to me. I never could figure out how the name got there but once I thought to look it was a nice simple solution.
