PC sound recorder

Post by Ken Williams »

When I try the sound recorder that is part of the windows system, all I can seem to get is 60 seconds of time. Is there any way to lengthen that to two or three minutes?

That's the way it's designed. You'll need an aftermarket recorder to get a longer recording.

Thanks Jim. Well I guess that's the end of that idea. You can close this thread.

Go to http://www.goldwave.com and download the program. It will do what you want.

Thanks Winston for the information. I downloaded the demo version at work and fooled with it for a few minutes. I noticed down at the bottom there was print that said $0.08. As time went on the amount started going up. Last time I looked it was about $0.12. Pardon my ignorance but, what's that for?
