I don't know. However, have you tried the BIAB web site and their forum?? Probably have a better chance of getting an answer there.

FWIW: I export them to Power tracks. Each instrument then has it's own track of midi data which you can edit, pan, replace, etc.

If you wish, you can then replace midi parts with "live" track(s)

In the "Opt." menu, "MIDI Channels, Options..." shows you what channel each instrument is going to. You have to set up the synths to ignore the channels that you don't want them to play. Consult your synth manuals.

Larry, thanks for the tip on exporting to a midi file. I had never thought of that, but it would come in handy at times. I tried it, exported a midi file from BIAB and then brought it up in Cakewalk and edited it.

this is one of the greatest things about having a "standard" MIDI file:for once someone thought far enuf ahead to make a data set that programs and devices from DIFFERENT manufacturers could ACTUALLY SHARE!!

create a shuffle progression in BIAB- save it as an SMF, pull it into Cakewalk (or whatever sequencer) and CHANGE that bassline that wasn't quite right...whee!!!

tools, tools, tools; it shouldn't matter who made the Hammer or screwdriver!!!all I wanna do is build a doghouse!
