Frequent internet dissconnects (solved)

Well the problem has finally been fixed! As it turns out my phone connection changes from copper to fiber optics about 700 feet down the street. There were some wrong "light" settings at the central office. I haven't had one single dis in the last 12 connected hours. I want to thank everyone who contributed a suggestion.....Ed
