What version do you have?? I think V9 (latest version) has this capability but the older ones don't

Steelruss, I have BIAB #9 as well as Cakewalk Gold
8.0.
I don't have a problem with BIAB, but I'm using an SBLive!MP+3 soundcard.
I had the same problem you're having with BIAB in Cakewalk. What they told me was to make sure
your soundcard has FULL DUPLEX capability,
not HALF DUPLEX.
Also, in BIAB, there may be a place to checkoff ENABLE AUDIO FOR BOTH PLAYBACK/RECORD. If that isn't checked, that could also be a problem.
And finally Cakewalk said to make sure SOURCE and PORTS are set to AUDIO, and not MIDI.
Although I have both programs I haven't really compared the 2 in detail, so I'm not sure about the SOURCE and PORT options in BIAB.
