Post by Len Amaral »

How do I attach a picture to a forum post? I'm an anolog guy in digital world, but I'm learning!

First you have to have it loaded onto a server on the internet. Your ISP may offer you some web space for personal stuff. Otherwise, I think there are some free servers available. Then you can embed code in your message that will point to the location of the picture. To see an example, click on the pencil above this message and see how I did it.

Whoa, I can't believe it was so easy!
Thanks, Rick!

(Using Netcape)
I went to the webpage where my guitar was in a gallery, and right clicked on it, then "copy image location". I pasted it below the message, and then I just bracketed it with the "Image"
Wow!

Thanks, Moon! I enjoyed your web pages, especially the Moose! Some b@llsy flyin, too.
I tried to get some better digital photos, but it was Christmas Eve, getting dark fast, and the "photographer" was smashed when I got there. He could barely hold the camera & stand up!

Thanks again Rick, for the embedding tip.

Len, here's a site that will "host" your photos on the web...for free, of course.
