Floppy won't hold enough info what next?
I often try do down load to a floppy and run out of room.Is there a way to split a down load between 2 or more floppies.
If not, what about zipping and unzipping the files. If that will work how do I do it.
While I am at it, how do I correct my Topic Title to read "won"t instead of "want".
[This message was edited by louie hallford on 28 March 2000 at 02:23 PM.]

[This message was edited by louie hallford on 28 March 2000 at 02:24 PM.]

Hi Louie,
Are you really trying to download from the Internet, or are you trying to copy a file from your hard disk to a floppy?
If you are trying to download it from the Internet, I would take Jack Stoner's advice and download to your hard drive and then copy it to a floppy if you want to later.
If you are trying to copy a large file from your hard drive to a floppie, try using a program called Filesplit. You can download it from the Internet at www.download.com
I use it and find that it works just fine. You cannot copy more than one file at a time, such as might be found in a folder, but for large files it will solve your problem. It is shareware.
If you have a problem finding it on the Internet, let me know and I will send it to you as an e-mail attachment. If you need help using it, let me know and I will give you my phone number so maybe I can talk you through it.
