direct box upgrade for Morel

I greatly improved the low output sound of my Little Roy Wiggins Morel eight string by running into my Tech 21 direct box before going into the amplifier. It sounds much much better.

That's interesting. What kind of amplifier are you using? Perhaps the pickup on the Morrell lap steel need some boost to properly work with your amp.

Brad ,it's being plugged into a Tech 21 Sansamp Bass Driver actve tone direct box to a powered mixer input.
I tried to reply earlier but had problems with my password getting recognized

Brad , I'm plugging into a powered mixer via an active tone direct box made by the Tech 21 Sansamp people. I tried to post before but couldn't get my regular password recognized for some reason
