Lessons for greenhorn- Bay Area

Post by TonyL »

Hi there,

I'm looking for anyone who offers non-pedal steel lessons in the SF Bay area- San Francisco or Marin preferred, but I can drive a bit if necessary.

Looking to start with six string C6, and then move on from there...Email me with info...

Thanks,

TL

If you can't find an instructor, you might try Cindy Cashdollar's C6 instruction tapes. There are two of them - they're demonstrated on eight-string necks, but could easily be used for six-string instruction, too. I used (and still use) them - and I think they'll leave you in a position where you can start to teach yourself. They're on Homespun. Have fun.

Thirty years ago you could have taken lessons from Helo Dominici at the Hawaiian School of Music in Oakland - long since replaced by a mall. All is not lost ! You are far better served by procuring Jerry Byrd's, Herb Remington's, or Cindy Cashdollar's steel guitar courses.

I'm in San Bruno and would be happy to sit down and show you whatever I can, but I'm too busy to give you regular lessons.
Check out my web site and give me a holler.
