I have a Sho-bud 12 string "stereo" pick-up
that I would like to trade or sell. when I
got my 12 string universal from harry jackson
in 1980 he gave me a new type pick-up that he
made. this has 12 poles staggered so that 6
poles or off centered from the other 6 poles
with (4) wires coming out of the pick up so
that you can use either p/u for a stereo sound. I had temporarily hooked it up to see
how it would sound, with two amps attached to
I got an unsual sound, imagine treble strings
coming from one amp, and bass strings coming
out of the other amp, imagine hooking up effects units to one side of this p/u while
using the other side barefooted depending on
your string grips you can get amazing sounds
the size is 5" long by 1 1/2" wide.I would
like to trade this for a George "L" 12 E-66
if possible.if any body is interested you can
contact me at rbakersteel@hotmail.com or use
the forum,I will try to answer any questions,
I can't send any pictures over the internet
as I don't have that type of equipment, but
I will send pictures by mail.
Thanks Guy's Bobba
