Hi Mike,
Problems with the ProFex II unit.
I was in the middle of the fourth set when all of a sudden the effects unit started to squeel. Please keep in mind that I have been playing three and a half sets with this thing and no problems. What is the unit
trying to tell me????

Hello John,
The symptoms that you have described could be the result of a grounding problem, an A/D conversion problem, etc.. It's hard to determine just exactly what the problem is, but I highly recommend that you reinitialize the unit by turning the power off, then press and hold the PLAY and GLOBAL buttons simultaneously while turning the power back on. NOTE: this will delete any custom programs that you have stored.
If this doesn't work, I suggest that you have a local authorized Peavey repairman benchtest the unit. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me here at the factory at 1-877-732-8391.
