A customer brought in an Ultra 120 tube amp for repair the other day. After completing the job, I decided to "test drive" it with my Emmons. I must say I was reasonably pleased. The sound was excellent, and I did manage to get a good tone after some fiddling around with the EQ. I love the "tube" sound anyway, but think insofar as modern tube amps go, the Ultra is a good "fit" for steel. At least for my tone and style.
Just an observation and I'm interested in anyones experiences with this amp.

Mike:
Just quick settings. Would like to spend more time with it. Here's where I got to with it:
Voicing: edge 3o'clock body 12noon Bottom 4oclock
EQ: HI 2o'clock MID 12o'clock LO 4o'clock
I set the reverb at 3-4 o'clock, and sometimes wide open since that was the problem I serviced.
Settings need some "tweaking", but like I said, I was fairly happy.
