My Little ??? Sho-Bud Amp

Post by Jack Stoner »

I saw a Sho-Bud amp last night, it was a "My Little something maybe Pal" amp. It was solid state and only had one input jack on the #2 input. The #1 input had a silk screen mark where it would be but the front panel was never punched out for the jack.

I've seen several Sho-Bud amps, but not this one.

Jack, I talked with Jim Evans in St. Louis last year. As you know, he started the Evans amps. Jim told me he worked with Shot on building some amps. Maybe this was one of their proto-type amps.

Keith, there must have been quite a few models of the Sho-Bud amps, judging from the various posts on here. I've got some old Sho-Bud catalogs and there isn't anything like it in the catalogs. Who knows, it may have been a one of a kind amp...
