Peavey/Lemay Mods For Peavey Amplifiers

Does any one know if the Peavey mod is
replacing the same parts as the Lemay mod and if the part values are same?

Evidently not, since the performance of the two is very different. The LeMay mod did improve my Peavey amp, but not as much as I had hoped. Bass response is better, but still lacking, for my tastes. Most people I have heard from liked the LeMay mod better, though.

Side by side audible comparisons and the documentation of frequency response curves show that there is little or no difference between the two kits.

If Mike says the F/R curves are nearly the same, that's good enough for me! (I was just going by what I had read here previously.)
