I had a friend stop by last week and we picked a little. He sang a song titled Brown to Blue and said it was off of a CD he got in England. It was by George Jones, did George ever record a song of that title, I have never heard the tune before. Then he wasn't sure, it may have been George Jones singing Hank Williams tunes. I don't know who had the song but I sure never heard of it.

It had a line something like " You changed your name from Brown to Jones and I changed my name to Blue.

Anyone?

Here is George Jones version of the song. It is from United Artists album Trouble In Mind (UAS-6408).

Wow, can you believe this Forum, an answer in 3 hours and 16 minutes. Not only the answer but the song too, sounds pretty darn good and a Jones tune for sure. Thanks a ton Petr. Maybe next time Smiley. Image
[This message was edited by Walter Jones on 03 November 2006 at 08:13 PM.]

Smiley,

If you are using Musicmatch Jukebox, it shows the album cover when the track is playing.
