Rockabilly star Gene Simmons (not the guy from KISS) died today in Tupelo Mississippi. He had worked with Elvis early in his career and also with Sam Plillips, of Sun Records. He had a novelty hit in 1964 called "Haunted House". More recently, he wrote the hit song "Indian Outlaw" for Tim McGraw in the mid '90s.
