next saturday on the delta songwriter showcase, we are doing a special
patriotic God & Country show for our audience in baghdad. baghdad, irag,
that is!
thru our internet archive's, housed at.... www.northsidesound.com , we recieved a request from an arkansas, lieutenant
colonel, on the ground in baghdad, to play a song from "diamond rio" titled
"in God we still trust", and dedicate it to his troops.
since our show spotlites the songwriter i couldn't just play a request
without knowing who the writer was.
in doing the research to determine the writer, this request has blown into a
2 hr tribute that has been one great journey.
one of the soldiers we will acknowledge, on the ground there, hails from,
....eldorado, arkansas and another is a graduate of fairview high school.
long before the merger.
if you can, spread the word on this website. this will be a knock you off
