Chris LeDrew - Brothers In Stereo
Lately I've been listening to the CD by Chris and Andrew LeDrew..."Brothers In Stereo", and I just wanted to put the word out that these guys have got it goin' on.
Sort of a Tom Petty meets the Byrds vibe. Cool tunes, great vocals & melodies, nice instrumentation.
Chris flexes his steel chops on one tune...very cool.
I highly recommend it.

Skip, that's a huge compliment coming from a man of your musical talents. Thank you very much. We had some good fortune with that CD here in Canada, particularly on the East Coast. We released it 3 years ago and worked the road pretty hard with it. This CD sells more in the USA these days, actually. www.notlame.com has been selling it for us down there, and they're doing a great job.
Once again, thanks for the kind words, Skip. If anyone wants to check it out, it's www.brothersinstereo.com
There are a few samples on there, or you can do a search on the notlame site and get a good few MP3 samples there.
I played some sparse steel on 3 cuts with an old pull/release no-name thingy. I was not long into the steel 4 years ago, so I kept it simple.

My pleasure, Bob......so glad you like it. I was happy to get the opportunity to give you one.
It means a lot to me that you guys like this music. I'm releasing a solo album next month that has a lot of steel playing on it. You can check out a few of these tunes at www.myspace.com/chrisledrew
Thanks.....Chris
[This message was edited by Chris LeDrew on 28 August 2006 at 06:17 AM.]
