'Cause We've Ended As Lovers

Post by Steve Hitsman »

The recent Jeff Beck thread has gotten me interest in this song but a hard target search has failed to turn up sheet music for it. Any help?

You gotta hear Dave Ristrim's version on steel. Also, Speedy West Jr. recorded it long ago on his "Used Guitars" LP.

I have recorded the Jeff Beck tune years ago using a karaoke as backround great tune.I have never had it produced for the public. It's in my collection of memories. There are too many memories for me. The other tune I will never record or play in public is I'll never smile again. Those of you attented the ISGC in 2004 when I was inducted heard me break down as I played it. I couldn't handle it,knowing my wife had only two weeks to live. This Beck tune was recorded at a friend's house on Long Island and I was amazed at the wonderful arrangement.Perhaps some of us should try steel guitar with Karaoke. My final requests are that at my services when I am gone, that Cause we Ended as Lovers and Once Upon a Time be played and finalized by the Lord's Prayer.
