Who writes Hawaiian steel music?

Post by Larry W. Jones »

Aloha, all forum members. I'm looking for someone who can create
Hawaiian steel music to fit the words of "Hawaiian Steel Guitar Rag".
Loosely written similar to Bob Will's hit, this could become a classic
of Hawaiian steel music. I have other lyrics you might consider, as well.

All lyrics are copyrighted and registered through BMI, therefore ready
for your copyrighted music.

Work Title: HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR RAG

Some very evocative lyrics on you web site Larry, but can you tell me how can they be 'Song Lyrics' without a melody ?
Also, what deal are you offering the writer of the melodies to your poems ?
Aren't you looking for a 'Collaborator' to Jointly write the 'Songs' ?

Hi Baz. No, not a collaborator to help write the lyrics, but one to create the music and possibly record the song or music. My lyrics are written largely in prose and I'm flexible when they need to be rearranged for music. I don't have any expertise in marketing music. I simply have the lyrics. Anyone who creates the music and beyond would reap their reward from income generated. I would get writer royalties coming through BMI.
