Who wrote and /or Performed "Defenseless"?

This is a new-country'ish, jazz-blues sorta, torch song that I was given a copy of to learn for an upcoming show.

It sure sounds like LeAnn Rimes, but I can't find any reference to it on her site.

Joey it is LeAnn. I played the tune a few years ago when it first came out behind a remale vocalist. Good luck.
