Michigan Fiddlers Meeting in April

Post by Joy Wofford »

Hi, I'm putting this under "MUSIC" because this is not a steel related announcement. The Michigan Fiddlers will be meeting on April 15th, 2006 at the Maple Leaf Grange, 7600 Assyria Rd., in Nashville Michigan. That's 5 miles south of Nashville on M66. The meet starts at 2:00pm - 5:00pm, supper break for 2 hours, and restarts at 7:00pm and goes until ???. During the supper break, a meal is available for purchase on the premises. They usually welcome other acoustic instruments as backup.

Last meeting, there was a great crowd, and a fun time was had by all. After supper there is usually some square dancing. So come on out and make some music, eat well, and make some new friends. Hope to meet some of you in person that day, as I'm a member of this Grange and I'll be "working" that day. Any questions you have feel free to email me and ask.

Oh, one more "edit". Here's a link to the site of the Fiddlers Association if you want to learn more about them.

Joy,

I've been to the Maple Leaf Grange hall. This sounds like a great time. Who are in the Michigan Fidders? Is this a club or a band?

thanks,
Drew
