Brooks and Dunn "Live at Caine's".

Post by Jim Walker »

Just seen Brooks and Dunn on CMT Live at Caine's. Extreamly Heavy on steel. I thought the mix was great. Of course I have the TV audio pumped through my 2800 watt PA System for the Hollidays. HeHe! I read somewhere on here that Gary Morse is playing steel for B and D. Not sure if it's the same guy but The steel chops in this show were very nice. And in the words of Forrest Gump, "Thayats all I got to say Abayout Thayat!"

Jim,

I didn't get to see the entire show but the 20 minutes or so that I saw was my buddy Troy Klontz on steel. Must have been recorded before he left the band a few months ago. Troy now plays for Ray Scott.

Thanks Gaylon for clearing that up. Troy plays some really nice C6th in this show too. I tuned in late myself but It's going to be on again tonight a 7pm. I'll be watching.

Brooks & Dunn live at "Cain's" Watched it again: So it wasn't all I had to say but I'm still of the same opinion that the steel sounded awsome and Troy played some tasty stuff. I spotted a few other things I missed lastnight, Like a couple of my future ex-wives in the front row!

Jim,
I caught about 4 of the tunes myself tonight...and I agree. The mix was great. I was also wondering who was playing steel...he done good.

I also spotted those shiny things in front row also.
