Brad Paisley and Kermit the Frog

Post by Brett Anderson »

Anyone seen the Target commercial with Brad and Kermit trading licks? Its my new favorite commercial. Guess I'll have to do some Christmas shopping at Target this year.

It's a great commercial. It shows you that Brad can play to the stratospheric level. But what the interplay between Brad on a acoustic and Kermit on a banjo has to do with Target as a retail outlet (I don't think they sell either guitars or banjos) is not clear to me. Maybe it's just to hold the viewers attention until the Target promo comes on....

I'm with Bill on this one..
It's more like a short Seinfeld episode..
It's great !

Worthy of running the recorder for a few hours just to get a copy of it...

unless someone can find a link..which I could not...

To hell with Brad Paisley, who knew Kermit could flog a banjo like that. I don't remember any banjo on " It Ain't Easy Being Green".

I know for a fact that Kermit doesn't play his own parts. That is not even him singing.

Brad is one of those guys who always appears like a really nice fellow. Every interview or clip I've seen, he comes across very well. And what a picker!

Of course, I've always thought Kermit rawks.
Although his taste in "women" leaves a bit to be desired.

I believe there was banjo on Kermit's "The lovers, the dreamers, and me." I thought it was really sweet that my sister in law had that song played at the wedding for the father/daughter dance during the reception.
