Good Ride Cowboy

Post by Rick Garrett »

I know alot of you old timers don't care for Garth Brooks and I'm sure that keeps ol Garth up nights. Image I heard his new song Good Ride Cowboy yesterday and I don't see how any of you guys can say that ain't country. Great fiddle at the start and I think the song's another Garth hit. I'll buy the cd based on just that one song. Great stuff! You go Garth!!

Kevin,

Do I hear Garth plugging your band at 1:36 of the tune ?

Cool!

Joey, you are very observant. Thats one of the reasons we are covering it besides the fact that we are a rodeo/Chris LeDoux type band. Bareback Jack anyone? That would be us. I am very fortunate to be in a band of this calibur for five years.

I don't mind the song, but the "compress it until it sounds like a outdoor concert through a 20,00 watt sound system" mix is very hard to take.
