Heaven On Earth

One of my favorite albums of all time is Steve Youngs "Renegade Picker". It isn't just the players(who are all magnificent) it is the way they played together...the way Emmons and Mac Gayden play alternating slides to make you appretiate both styles. The arrangments let the band groove without overwhelming Steve and the material is great. Now for the Heaven On Earth part...my wife gave me a set of Bose Computer speakers for Xmas and I just got a 24 bit sound card with a ten band equalizer I was able to set it so the steel just roamed over the whole music aggregation and for a brief moment it was frozen in time and Buddy musically floated over the band, what a performance..Peter
