14 year old Jamiee singing this!

Post by Tom Diemer »

Through the internet I met Chris on another music forum. He just released a CD with his daughter Jamiee, who is 14, and does perform live, just the two of them. Chris asked me to add steel to a couple of his tracks, so we colaborated over the net to get it done. The drums, bass, etc, were all added via internet transfers. Anyway, I thought some of you might enjoy hearing this young lady sing. Steel playing isn't much, as I'm not that good (3 years playing steel), tried to stay out of the way. Still it was an honor being on these.

Definately not the average voice of a 14 year old. Excellent singing and production.

This girl could have a career ahead of her, if she so chooses.

Lovely voice. And nice picking and recording too.

For each Ashley Simpson out there...
there is a whole passle of very talented young aritsts
going un-recognized by the lables,
who just plain don't go out looking for them..

And then a whole other bunch who just sing for the love of it ,
and don't WANT the star making machine.
