Jim gave me my really first chance at a steel jam when I had only been at it a couple months. I didn't do much playing that day because he had me between Buddy Charlton and Don West but talk about being in heaven.

Jim and Bertha are just fantastic people. as you know, I've known them for a couple of years, and each and every time I see them, they make me feel more like family than anything. Folks like that are few and far between. and one of the best ol time honky tonks left ANYWHERE. I'm really looking forward to the 2005 season. God Bless.
