SMiLE live.

Post by JB Arnold »

I saw Brian Wilson perform this last night. Perhaps one of the best concerts I've ever seen, and that's saying something. It was especially gratifying to take the nieces and have them hear what a master sounds like live-so they'll know the crap when they see it. Particularly in light of the SNL episode the other night-Which Wilson and band took some shots at. Here's the review: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/music/article/0,1299,DRMN_54_3286850,00.html

It was positively stunning. SMiLE is easily comparable to Sgt. Pepper in terms of scope and achievement. Really gave me goosebumps, from the moment Prayer launched into Heroes and Villans to the stomping Good Vibrations as the end of the piece. He's heading west-don't miss this!
