The singer in our band likes Lucero a lot. I've only heard a couple of tunes but they sound pretty cool to me.

We've played two shows with them and I like it. First time they had a guy playing a S-6 Fender.

Yes....Lucero is a GREAT BAND!!!!
I run sound a Vino's, a brewpub/pizza/live music venue in Little Rock, Ar. I have had the pleasure of running sound for Lucero on several occasions, & I can tell you, that you will not find a nicer bunch of guys anywhere!
They are also playing all original, well writen, well performed, high energy
....COUNTRY MUSIC....! And they are packing houses everywhere they go. Yes, one of the guitar players does double on Fender non-pedal steel. I personally feel that these guys could benefit from a hot shot pedal steel player.......but who couldn't!
Check them out when they come to your area.
