Christine Mims - mp3 clip

I've had this CD for a while, noticed that she now has a couple of clips on her web site.. Check it out. It's Bobby Flores, Tommy Detamore and a bunch of the usual crew down there in San Antonio.

This is the coolest..

I was reminded that Randy Rinehard plays some great steel on this CD, textbook Emmons tone. If you wonder what it is about the old P/P sound that people like, this is Exhibit A.
[This message was edited by Bill Terry on 16 July 2004 at 09:08 AM.]

How cool is that!! More songs should start off with a big fat chord on the steel guitar like that!!! Go Tommy Detamore! What a player! Is it just me, or is he throwing some "Night Life" licks in there?

Thanks for the reply Tommy... and the correction. What an awesome performance by Randy! You did a great job in the booth!

Believe me Tommy, I've heard alot of your stuff and tis magic in your hands my brother. Other than the fact that I love EVERYTHING I've ever heard you play, one of my favorites is the last Doug Sahm disc. Your playing on that CD moved me. Doug is missed for sure!
