Why do so many artists sound like Bill Murrey...
when they sing live?
It's like they lost interest in their songs and the effect they once had when sung correctly.

Pete, I was referring to live music where the artist chops up the melody into very uninteresting phrases which render the performance uninspiring. I can't give examples because the one that impelled me to post about this issue is deceased. But, there are others that do it and it's a great disservice to the audience.
