ah one, ana two, ana three
How much is that doggie in the window
How much is that doggie for sale
I fed him some red beans and tacos
now I follow him 'round with a pail
How much is that canine in the storefront
How much can I get off the price
I'll give you a dime on the dollar
It appears he's infested with lice!
......I don't suppose you like to hear the bridge?

Joey- Thanks. For the record- I just got a new computer and YOU ARE THE FIRST THAT I GOT TO HEAR. Ironically a lady called yesterday and had let the warden have a stray pup. It upset he so that she went today and retrieved it. I am going to keep it for a while and find it a home. WE named it "NOEL".Can anybody do "Doggie" on the STEEL???? I still need pics of your Pet.ED

Ed. Just a slice about my "dog thing". My spouse's oldest son, 35, wants to "come get" the Labrador, Sam, that we took in as a stray about a year and a half ago. We tried last summer to let him go up there, (Montana) but her son had to move and "the new place wouldn't allow a dog". Well he brought him back.
Now, after he got his new place, he can. Problem is he got a DWI and Eluding ticket last month, and doesn't know if Sam will have a place to stay when and if he goes to jail.
I just got off the phone with him where I told him point blank that at this point, I don't trust him to care for MY dog, Sam.
He's a pain in the butt, and is doing all the things that a two year old lab does. However at this point, I trust him more than a 35 year old that doesn't know enough to keep out of jail. Told him that in front of his mom. Now she's not going to get to see her grandkids. I wish I had somewhere to live for the next month.. Me and Sam and Bill, my Aussie, cause I'd pack it all up and go there...
It's caused me a pretty severe rift "here at home", but that's not the point. That's the least I'll go through for My Dog.
He'd die for me willingly on a moments notice.
People don't realise what they owe these creatures sometimes.
I do.

I am almost overwhelmed at the responses I get about "BEING NICE TO ANIMALS"Many do not POST but E-mail and call me. Steel Players can have a big impact on KIDS if we help encourage them to get involved in music and teach them responsibility. Having them bond with an animal plays a big role in their behavor. Maybe we should "ADD a PUP" instead of adding a Pedal. ED

Be it horses, a pig , or a duck
The pay scale ain't great, it's just peanuts
'cause deernuts are under a buck!

My grandpappy used to tell about the "Pied Piper of Flatbush" who rid the entire boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens of their burgeoning deer population by playing resonator guitar. He would lure them with it's queer tones, as depicted in the photo above (file photo), and then when they looked up and saw who it was, they would all chase him the heck right outta town, and over the Triboro Bridge. The original resonator instrument has never been recovered, although several dredging operations have been attempted. To this day, the mysterious antipathy of cloven-hooved mammals for resonator guitars remains unsolved.

..Howard, in the background of that picture, is that a security guard at the gate making sure you don't wander off the grounds?...
...Ed, to answer your question, I think these are the correct lyrics...according to my mother, it's the first song I ever sang...
How Much Is That Doggie In The Window?
How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggely tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale.
I must take a trip to California
And leave my poor sweetheart alone
If he has a dog he won't be lonesome
And this doggie will have a good home.
How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggely tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale.
I read in the papers there are robbers
With flashlights that shine in the dark
My love needs a doggie to protect him
And scare them away with one bark.
I don't want a bunny or a kitty
I don't want a parrot that talks
I don't want a bowl of little fishes
He can't take a goldfish for walks.
How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggely tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale.
